Age Restrictions And Exceptions

 

The minimum age for Hertz rentals in Costa Rica is 25 years for all vehicle groups.

 

It is, however, possible to rent all vehicle groups from 21 years* on payment of a young driver surcharge as per table below:

E - Toyota Yaris or Hyundai Accent 

G - Kia Cerato

H - I Hyundai Tucson or Kian Sportage

F - O Daihatsu Terios or similar

 

USD 15.00 per day

 

M - Hyundai Santa Fe 4x4 or similar

 

USD 25.00 per day
